VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise – Volunteers for International Experience) is a programme that offers European graduates the chance to gain professional experience abroad.

A unique professional experience

Several hundred VIE students have been employed in approximately 35 countries.

As part of the VIE programme, positions of responsibility, lasting on average 16 months, are provided in the sectors of finance, financial markets or in business lines with cross-departmental areas of operation (risk, marketing, management control, information systems, etc.). The main destinations are New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.

At the end of the placement, many VIE students join the Group and often hold international positions.

VIE positions are open to anybody who has at least a three-year degree.

You must be a European citizen (a citizen of a country that is a member of the European Union or the European Economic Area: EU + Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein) and be under 28 years of age.

In addition, you must have fulfilled all the national service obligations that may be required in your country of origin.

For more information on the terms and conditions of the VIE contract, CIVI (a public service body that oversees the VIE programme) has created a website with information and advice about VIE: www.civiweb.com.
