On its tour through France (Paris, Rennes, Marseilles, Bordeaux, and 9 hospitals), Burma (Rangoon), the World Expo in Shanghai, Rome, and Brussels, Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s 6 billion Others exhibition, supported by BNP Paribas from its conception, has welcomed over 3.5 million enthusiastic visitors.
Currently showing at the Tour & Taxis in Brussels, the exhibition has been extended until June 19, 2011.
The San Telmo museum in San Sebastian, Spain, will also be showing over 11 hours of video in its newly renovated temporary exhibition space until August 21, 2011. A film focusing on Basque culture will also be featured.
The exhibition’s arrival on the American continent has just been marked at the Museo del Arte de Sao Paolo (MASP) in Brazil. Complemented by “Somos Sao Paolo”, a film made for the occasion, the spotlight will be pointed on the theme of immigration.
The exhibition will also be at the Multimedia Art Museum of Moscow this summer from July to September 2011.
