BNL BNP Paribas Group participates for the fifth consecutive year in “Festival della Cultura Creativa”, promoted by ABI (Italian Bank Association) and organized by individual banks throughout the country with the aim of stimulating creativity in the youth and exposing them to culture. The initiative will take place the week of April 16th to the 22nd and includes a series of workshops dedicated to the common theme identified by ABI for this edition: “CHE CAPOLAVORO – The European cultural heritage as a community of memory, identity, dialogue, cohesion, creativity, future”.

BNL, continually involved in promoting art among the young and in particular contemporary art, wanted to develop activities for the Festival in collaboration with Giubilarte, who conceived for the occasion “Our country, a masterpiece in the lens of young image hunters”, a creative project focused on photography.

The students will be invited by the artists / photographers Giuseppe Pietroniro and Giovanni De Angelis to produce photos inspired by the ‘special’ places that will host the workshops and by the masterpieces (art, craft, design, fashion, painting, cinema, …) that surround them, experimenting with different photographic methods (disposable cameras, digital cameras, polaroids, i-pads etc..). Locations of the laboratories, in fact, are museums and places of national interest such as: Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo – Turin, Palazzo Stelline – Sala Bramante and Deloitte GreenHouse Italia – Milan, MUS.E – Le Murate Progetti Arte Contemporanea and MUS.E Museo Novecento – Florence, Villa Medici Accademia di Francia and Palazzo Baldassini Istituto Luigi Sturzo – Rome and at the Museo Pignatelli  Polo Museale della Campania – Naples.

Using the available materials (photographic prints, colors, creative laboratory elements) the young participants will create a photo collage with the aim of creating together with the artists their unique “masterpiece”. The photographic contributions of the kids will be collected in an album that will tell, through the images, about this fascinating journey in creativity.

With the support of these initiatives, BNL once again demonstrates its willingness to promote and implement initiatives addressed to young audiences, with the aim of providing young people with the tools to develop their creative skills and critical spirit.
