Six years on, BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking, has been sponsoring the Institut Pasteur, supporting medical research in thirteen countries in 2014.
BNP Paribas CIB offers financial aid to two teams from the Institut Pasteur in Paris, and to several teams from the International Network of Institut Pasteur abroad as well as to laboratories working in collaboration with French “Pasteurian” scientists. Research projects are often linked to public health problems encountered in each of the thirteen countries of the program. They include the development of a combined vaccine against measles and AIDS in France and United Kingdom for example, research on various diseases such as hepatitis (Spain, Belgium or Russia), malaria (Brazil), dengue fever (Hong-Kong), diphtheria (Poland), or leshmaniasis (Canada)…
To date, BNP Paribas is an important partner of the Pasteur Institute. Since 2008, the financial support brought by BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking represents nearly 2.3 million Euros.
