The innovation of BNP Paribas Cardif is awarded with two mentions at the AIFIn ‘Cerchio d’Oro Awards’

A special mention has been received by two projects signed BNP Paribas Cardif on the occasion of the “AIFIn Cerchio d’Oro Financial Innovation Italian Award”, dedicated to innovation in banking, insurance and finance, held yesterday during the Financial Innovation Day Conference.

The company obtained a special mention in the ‘Support services’ category with the project ‘Noovle: RPA Customer Care with Google Search Engine’, and in the ‘Life insurance products and services’ category with ‘Investipolizza BNL PASSO PASSO’, developed with BNL. Thanks to their innovative features and to the value generated, the two projects were selected by a jury composed of university professors, coordinated by AIFIn Chairman, Sergio Spaccavento.

The concept of innovation carried out in the last years by BNP Paribas Cardif is well represented by the “Robot Process Automation for customer care”, created with the aim of improving the customer experience and the company efficiency and developed by BNP Paribas Cardif’s Internal R&D department in collaboration with Noovle, an Italian ICT Company in the top 50 Google Cloud Premier Partner in the world. The platform based on Google Search Appliance (GSA) technology has been designed to reduce time and costs required to manage requests, to automate the customer care model and to support branch operators during the sale.

Among the new solutions of insurance investment, the multi-branch ‘Investipolizza BNL PASSO PASSO’, created by BNP Paribas Cardif and distributed by BNL, stands out thanks to the innovative way that allows customers to enter gradually in the financial markets. The investment is initially directed to a General Fund, which is a low-volatility asset, and then is automatically redirected, on a monthly basis, to a diversified palette of BNP Paribas Group funds, the result of a careful selection constantly updated. The product reduces the risk of bad entry timing, while at the same time providing selected funds and other high-value services.

These awards confirm the strategy pursued by the BNP Paribas Group and by the Company which includes, among its main assets, innovation at all levels, both organizational and in products and services. Among the varied initiatives in the recent years, BNP Paribas Cardif created an Internal R&D department; marketed for first an home policy with integrated telematics, the SmartHome Insurance Habit@t platform; promoted the Open-F@b Call4Ideas contest to support and implement the most innovative ideas in insurance field among start-ups, students, and small business owners; launched Insurance Up, the first Insurtech portal in Italy dedicated to digital innovation and entrepreneurship in the insurance industry.
