Today’s company life has changed and BNP Paribas Cardif wants to meet the new needs of its employees with 4.0 welfare initiatives. Not only flexible working but also meetings to educate and inform on sensitive issues like health, nutrition, vaccines, bullying and cyberbullying.

How many times did you give up on doing something because of a lack of time? Even in the digital age, reconciling work and family commitments and finding a satisfactory balance between the two different dimensions is not easy. BNP Paribas Cardif, one of the top ten insurance companies in Italy1, is convinced that companies should be able to innovate in this field too, by focusing on a new corporate culture able to meet the emerging needs not only of customers, but also of its people.

This is how today, while working in BNP Paribas Cardif, it is possible to be informed on meningitis and vaccines, attend a course on nutrition and prevention at the table, find out more on the phenomenon of bullying and cyberbullying, carry out a check-up at an affiliated centre in a morning, take your children to the Kids day or go with them to plant the flowerbeds in the park nearby: activities that you would easily turn down due to the lack of time, check-up included. In fact, in 2017, the Company has set up some initiatives following a new and more modern concept of welfare in order to adapt to social changes and to support increasingly complex lives. This is a first phase of a larger project that will continue in 2018 in order to reinforce the mission as innovative people-centric company.

Last November, to confirm a corporate culture that is oriented towards Social Responsibility also in other fields, the Company received a recognition from Unioncamere Lombardia, for the seventh year in a row, for being a company that has stood out for the “Best Corporate Good Business Practices in Lombardy”.
