The processes digitization, a new e-commerce website and the launch of a highly innovative insurance product: this is the answer to the changing world of BNP Paribas Cardif, one of the top ten insurance companies in Italy (ANIA ranking 2012).
Already a pioneer in Italy in bankinsurance, BNP Paribas Cardif confirms its innovation capabilities by offering a modern concept of digital insurance able to adapt itself to the new generation consumption patterns. The company digitization process, started more than a year ago, is designed to optimize the “customer experience“. Every stage of relationship with the customer on the e-commerce website www.cardif.it is digital: from quotation to the digital signature of the contract, from the payment until the report of an accident. All paperless.
Through this new website, BNP Paribas Cardif in Italy launches in the market Habit@t, a new concept of insurance policy in the European scenario. Habit@t is the first home insurance to be “seen first-hand” thanks to Homebox, a telematic system which protects and monitors the house also when the customer is out. The innovative device watches the house through some sensors and, in case of danger – fire, smoke, flooding, lack of electricity – promptly launches an alarm both to the customer and the operation center, which immediately activates the assistance service. The policy is, therefore, not conceived as a mere financial compensation but also levers on prevention and customer assistance, which includes craftsmen’s labour and the supply of spare parts for repair.
